May 1 Transit Forum

You are invited to attend a community-wide Forum on Transit Oriented Design along Bee Ridge Road on May 1st from 1:00 – 4:00 at the Suncoast Polytechnic High School on Beneva Road.

The Forum will begin with a panel discussion among local transit entities (Sarasota County, SCAT, TBARTA) followed by interactive visioning exercises to gain clarity about what our community wants for Bee Ridge and beyond. Attendees will use of Polytechnic High School's interactive voting technology to compare and contrast different ideas for Bee Ridge's future. Community input at the forum will help create a “roadmap” for elected officials, the business community and citizens to move into the future.

Please bring a friend or family member. Young adults are especially welcome to experience the civic process.
